Honest Review: Folks Font
I recently stumbled upon the Folks Font while searching for a free download for my next creative project. As a designer, I’m always on the lookout for high-quality design resources that can elevate my work.
- ✨ What works well: The Folks Font has a charming, handwritten feel that’s perfect for titles, headings, and quotes. The font is highly legible, even at smaller sizes.
- ✨ The font comes in a range of weights, from light to bold, giving me plenty of options for customizing my design.
- ✨ The transparent background option is a huge plus, making it easy to layer the font over images or other design elements.
However, I did encounter a few limitations ⚠️:
- ⚠️ The font doesn’t include any Cyrillic or Asian character sets, which might be a issue for designers working with international clients.
- ⚠️ The font file size is relatively large, which could slow down loading times on slower connections.
Overall, I’m impressed with the Folks Font. While it may not be perfect, it’s a solid addition to any designer’s toolkit. I’d definitely recommend it for any creative project that requires a high-quality, handwritten font.
